Individual Therapy

Research shows that individual counseling often results in lower stress, higher self-esteem, and an increase of positive relationships. Individual counseling provides space for you to explore these difficult components in your life in the safety of an empathetic, confidential therapeutic relationship.

Family Therapy

Guided by a family therapist, you’ll learn new ways to interact and overcome current problems. You’ll set individual and family goals and work on ways to achieve them as a family. Starting therapy with a family therapist can be one of the best things you do when your family is experiencing difficulty. You can begin to heal emotional wounds, come to understand one another better and restore a sense of harmony you may not have felt for a long time.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy can be a useful, economical, and timely way of navigating life changes, with the full support and encouragement of a group of like-minded persons struggling with similar issues. Led by an experienced therapist, Group Therapy can instill hope, develop resiliency, and instigate change. The two primary groups currently in operation are a Men’s Group and a Couples Group.

Couples Therapy

Our couples therapists focus on improving patterns of communication between partners, with the hope of creating moments of intimate connection in the therapy room. Our couples report decreases in criticism and blame, increases in the ability to express personal and relational needs, and improvements in sexual experiences.

Therapy Intensives

Rather than attending therapy in a more ongoing way, busy clients are offered the option to participate in three 90 minute intensive sessions that take place over the course of a weekend. These sessions are highly structured, directive, and focused, allowing for quicker movement through the issue or issues at hand. Common topics include: recovery from an affair, skills to enhance sexual play, rekindling desire in the relationship, sexual communication, and negotiation of a non-monogamous lifestyle, among many others. Therapy is not only directed at dissolution of the identified issue, but ongoing sexual and intimate satisfaction for the lifespan of the couple. Partners should leave with a greater understanding of both their intimate relationship and themselves.  Sex therapy intensives are $1500.
